Standard and Optional Multimedia Features

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV comes with 17 standard and four optional multimedia features. The optional features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, TuneIn Radio, In-car Wi-Fi, and Rear Seat Entertainment System. Since there are so many standard features, we are going to focus on the key standard features.

The first key feature is the 12.3-inch high-resolution central display. This display is where you can access entertainment, navigation, comfort and convenience features, and customizable vehicle settings. Another key feature in conjunction with the central display, is the COMAND® system with touchpad controller. The central controller fits naturally with your hand and has an intuitive touchpad with rotary knob and one-touch keys. The touchpad can respond to swiping, pinching and handwriting.

One of the entertainment features that you’ll be able to enjoy is compatibility with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. If you don’t want to use those two apps, you can also use Bluetooth® audio streaming. The final key standard feature is the analog gauges with high-resolution multifunction display. Displayed in the gauge cluster display, this feature provides menus for vehicle information, settings and driver-assistance features. You can scroll through the menus using the left-hand Touch Controls on the steering wheel.
