What Should the Tire Pressure be at for a 2016 Mercedes-Benz C 300?

March 15th, 2017 by

Your 2016 Mercedes-Benz C 300 is a well-oiled machine, with every part working efficiently in unison to create artwork on the road. One of the most important parts of a Mercedes-Benz that can often get overlooked is the tires. In order to keep your C 300 running smoothly, it’s important to keep your tires inflated at the recommended PSI. This ensures a safer and more fuel-efficient drive.

Recommended Tire Pressure for 2016 Mercedes-Benz C 300
2016 Mercedes-Benz C 300 4MATIC® has original equipment tire size of 225/50R17 94 H for front tires with recommended tire pressure of 39 PSI, and original equipment tire size of 225/50R17 94 H for rear tires with recommended tire pressure of 45 PSI. You can find these numbers and more tire information listed on the inside to the fuel filler door.

What is a Mercedes-Benz Tire Pressure Monitoring System?

Like most Mercedes-Benz vehicles, your 2016 C 300 comes with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, or TPMS. The Tire Pressure Monitor tracks your vehicle’s tire pressures by using sensors in each of the four tires and can warn you of pressure loss by lighting up an indicator on your instrument cluster. You can also use the TPMS to check each tire’s pressure. You do this by switching on the ignition and following these quick and easy steps:

  • Use the “left” or “right” arrows buttons on your steering wheel until you reach the “Service” menu.
  • Use the “Up” or “Down” arrow buttons on your steering wheel to hover over “Tire Pressure”.
  • Press “Okay”.
  • This will display the current tire pressures for each wheel.
